    Sarada seeks to identify the root cause of any imbalance by understanding your unique Dosha. As a Ayurvedic practitioner, she will guide you toward choices that help to restore and maintain harmony in the mind, body and spirit. An Ayurvedic treatment routine may include foods, spices and herbs, breathing techniques, aromas, colours, and massage. Marma Therapy works with 117 vital energy (Marma) points in the body. Each Marma point serves a particular purpose with its own name and specific way of channeling it through massage and appropriate pressure.

    Recharge your creative battery and nourish your soul by making your breath deeper and more meaningful. Each inhale and exhale is an opportunity to connect with your inner self.

    In this workshop, you will learn ancient breathing techniques and practices. These controlled rhythmic breathing practices with awareness will help you to:

    • activate the parasympathetic nervous system and lower blood pressure
    • naturally calm the body and mind
    • restore connection to the life force (Prana)
    • help quiet the mind to access and release unprocessed energy

    Energy can be released in the form of physical sensation or through an emotional discharge and helps to explore the equanimity of the inner existence.


    This class is for all levels. There will be gentle movements, breath work and silence. Wear loose comfortable clothing.

    Sarada Pranav Jagannath is a certified Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner training to be an Ayurvedic Doctor, a Counseling Psychologist and Hatha Yoga Teacher. She comes from a family where Ayurveda and Yoga are an integral part of daily life. Growing up in India - she was exposed to these ways of life at a young age by her Grandfather, an Ayurvedic doctor. Sarada has offered many Yoga and Ayurvedic workshops in the United States, India and Canada in the past eight years by sharing the wisdom passed on to her from her ancestors as well as her passion for these practices.


    Sarada believes that destiny brought her to Victoria, BC - a place where Yoga and Ayurveda are being adopted as practices. This ancient knowledge system belongs to everybody and every body and it is her dharma to share what her teachers have shared with her.
